The Design Unfiltered Conclave, Haryana Edition 2025, hosted at Lemon Tree Hotel, Hisar in December, brought together architects, interior designers, and creative professionals from across the state for an inspiring exchange of ideas, conversations, and recognition of design excellence. The conclave served as a vibrant platform for the Architecture and Interior Design (AID) fraternity of Haryana, highlighting emerging regional voices while fostering dialogue on contemporary design practices.

Curated by Punit Sethi (Gurgaon) and Shilpa Ranade (Hisar), the event reflected the growing momentum of the design community across Haryana’s cities. The competition segment of the conclave was curated by Sunny Garg (Hisar), ensuring a thoughtful and transparent platform to celebrate outstanding work and contributions within the design ecosystem.

A significant highlight of the event was the Design Baithaki on “Process of Designing: Object centric to People Centric”, an interactive knowledge-sharing session moderated by Sarab Marwah (Chandigarh). The panel brought together architects and designers from across Haryana, including Abhishek Kumar (Rohtak), Nitin Kumar (Hisar), Dipesh Panghal (Hisar), Sunny Garg (Hisar), Nitin Rawal (Panipat), and Sheenam Nanda (Sirsa). The discussion explored evolving design practices, regional architectural identity, and the challenges faced by designers working across rapidly developing cities.

Another engaging segment was Unfiltered Dialogue on Costly to Curated – Rethinking Luxury in Emerging cities, moderated by Ankit Gera, which sparked candid conversations on the changing landscape of architecture and interior design practices. The panel featured Jasmine Singh (Chandigarh), Shanky Bansal (Hisar), Parichay Taneja (Hisar), Sachin Goyal (Tohana), Kanika Chawla (Bhiwani), and Kashish Gupta (Hisar), who shared insights on professional growth, collaboration, and the opportunities emerging within the regional design ecosystem.

Adding a strong academic and conceptual perspective to the conclave was a keynote session by  Swati Aggarwal, Charged Voids, Chandigarh, whose work continues to influence contemporary architectural thinking in India. The event also featured DU Talks, where Aman Issar (Delhi) and Mohit Vij (Chandigarh) shared their perspectives on evolving design narratives and the importance of innovation in practice.

The evening also honoured remarkable contributions to the profession. The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Abhay Ram Saini in recognition of his enduring contribution to architecture and the built environment, while the Masterstroke Award was conferred upon Satish Singh for his impactful design work and influence within the industry.

The conclave was supported by prominent industry partners including Mikasa Laminates, Haryana Doors, KEI Wires & Cables, Amit Marble, Gresbond by Kajaria, and Liya, whose continued support reflects the growing synergy between the design industry and material innovation.

More than an event, the Design Unfiltered Conclave Haryana Edition emerged as a meaningful forum for architectural dialogue, regional design collaboration, and community building, strengthening the design network across Haryana while celebrating the creativity and talent shaping the region’s built environment.

More than an awards platform, the Design Unfiltered Conclave Jaipur continues to emerge as an influential forum for architectural dialogue, design innovation, and heritage-led development, bringing together architects, designers, and thought leaders who are collectively redefining the future of India’s built environment.
