Our Journey So Far
Design Unfiltered was born from a simple belief — that some of India’s most honest and impactful design conversations are happening beyond metropolitan cities. What began as a vision to document and amplify regional voices has grown into a national platform connecting architects, designers, and creative communities across India.
The Beginning
Design Unfiltered officially took shape as an independent platform dedicated to architecture and design conversations emerging from tier-2 and tier-3 cities. With a clear focus on authenticity, regional excellence, and honest storytelling, the foundation was laid for a new kind of design conference in India.
Amritsar Conclave
The first Design Unfiltered conclave was held in Amritsar, marking the platform’s debut. The event brought together architects, designers, and students to celebrate raw ideas, material narratives, and regional design practices.
Jodhpur Conclave
Building on the momentum, Design Unfiltered arrived in Jodhpur — a city deeply rooted in craft and architectural heritage. The conclave explored contextual design, material integrity, and the relationship between tradition and contemporary practice.
Hisar Conclave
Later the same month, Design Unfiltered expanded to Hisar, strengthening its commitment to reaching emerging design communities and creating accessible platforms for dialogue, learning, and collaboration.
Jammu Conclave
The Jammu edition marked Design Unfiltered’s growing national presence. Architects and designers from the region shared stories rooted in geography, climate, and culture — reinforcing the importance of place-driven design.
Jaipur Conclave
The Jaipur conclave further solidified Design Unfiltered’s mission, bringing together diverse voices to discuss architecture, materials, and the future of the built environment through exhibitions, talks, and discussions.
Looking Ahead
Design Unfiltered continues to expand across India, building a living archive of design conversations and fostering a community where unfiltered ideas shape the future of architecture and design.
