The Design Unfiltered Conclave – Jaipur Edition 2026, hosted at the Hyatt Regency Jaipur, brought together some of the most influential voices from the architecture and interior design (AID) fraternity for a day of compelling conversations, creative exchange, and celebration of design excellence. More than just an industry gathering, the conclave unfolded as a vibrant platform exploring tourism-driven architecture, heritage-conscious design, and the evolving narrative of contemporary Indian architecture.

Curated by Rekha Nemani, Founder of Rekha Nemani Architects, the Jaipur edition reflected the spirit of the Design Unfiltered platform creating meaningful dialogue while spotlighting visionary contributions shaping the built environment.

A defining moment of the evening was the presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award to Ravi Gupta (Ravi Gupta & Associates), honouring his enduring legacy and influence on the architectural landscape. The Masterstroke Award was conferred upon Dhruv Gupta (Dhruv.Design) for his progressive design language and innovative architectural approach.

Among the most engaging sessions was Design Baithaki, centred on Tourism Driven Design, a theme deeply rooted in Rajasthan’s architectural identity. Moderated by Preethi Agrawal (Aalayam Designs), the discussion brought together architects Tushar Sogani, Amit Gehlot, Shamini Shankar, Kavita Jain, and Pramod Jain, who explored how tourism, hospitality architecture, and regional culture are redefining contemporary design across heritage destinations.

The conclave also hosted an insightful Unfiltered Dialogue on the ecosystem of tourism infrastructure and heritage conservation, moderated by Anjali Azadd Dubey (Pratham Design Ventures). Architects Manas Sharma, Ankur Jajpuria, Akshit Tholia, Ridhima Sogani, and Ronak Singhvi shared perspectives on balancing modern development with the preservation of cultural identity—an ongoing challenge for historic cities like Jaipur.

Adding a creative dimension to the event was Jugalbandi, a thought-provoking exchange between architects Venu Gopal (Udaipur), Amit Sankhla (Jodhpur), and Gagan Sharma (Jaipur). The session celebrated regional design philosophies while highlighting how different cities interpret architecture through their own cultural and contextual lens.

The conclave also recognised exceptional projects through the Design Unfiltered Awards Jaipur 2026, honouring outstanding work across residential, hospitality, institutional, retail, healthcare, corporate, and weekend home architecture and interiors projects that stood out for their innovation, contextual sensitivity, and refined design thinking.

Supported by leading industry partners including Mikasa Laminates, Baari, RachTR, KEI Wires & Cables, Gaddot, Sirca, and Haique, the event underscored the role of material innovation, industry collaboration, and creative exchange in shaping the future of design.

More than an awards platform, the Design Unfiltered Conclave Jaipur continues to emerge as an influential forum for architectural dialogue, design innovation, and heritage-led development, bringing together architects, designers, and thought leaders who are collectively redefining the future of India’s built environment.
